The Orient Flower Junior College focuses on the all-round development of its students and the Annual College Magazine is one of the aspects that provides momentum to the intellectual growth of its students through the proper exercise and implementation of the writing skills of its students.

We have the distinction of publishing a college magazine, named The Orient, since 2009-10. Not too many junior colleges of Assam have this distinction. The publication of the 2017-18 and 2018-19 issues is halted due to a technical problem in the printing press, whereas 2019-20 and 2020-21 issues are disrupted due to the situation prevailing from the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The college magazine gives the students a platform to express themselves through various literary pieces so as to build the confidence to step into the literary world in the later stages of their lives.
